PE and Sports Premium Funding

The PE and Sports Premium Funding is additional government funding provided to primary schools to improve the provision of physical education, school sport, and physical activity. The aim is to encourage healthy, active lifestyles and ensure all children have access to high-quality PE and sporting opportunities.

Schools can use the funding in a variety of ways, including:

• Hiring qualified sports coaches to work with teachers and pupils

• Purchasing new sports equipment and resources

• Offering a wider range of sports and physical activities

• Providing staff training to improve PE teaching

• Supporting participation in school sports competitions

This recognition reflects our commitment to promoting sport and physical activity across the school and celebrating our pupils' enthusiasm, effort, and success in PE and school sport.
