Friday 15th November

we had a brilliant school trip to Rushcliffe Country Park where we met Boudicca and learnt more about how the Romans invaded Britain. We learnt how to act like Roman soldiers including matching in formation and tried the armour that they would have worn. We learn all about the inventions the Romans brought to England and had a go at throwing some javelins. Finally, we demonstrated excellent team work and coordination skills to build a catapult.
